With over 27 years of being a Psychologist, I have gained a lot of satisfaction in assisting people navigate through difficult issues, empowering them to lead more fulfilling lives. Seeing their smiles return to their faces is very rewarding for me
Client-centred, respectful and empathic, incorporating a variety of evidence-based best practice treatment and interventions that help my clients gain confidence in their ability to cope and manage. I often use humour to help ease my clients into therapy, making them feel safe. I believe that I am affable, approachable and easy to get on with
Developing rapport and engaging clients in addressing the core issues in their lives. I believe that, through my experience, I am able to hone in on issues effectively, whilst keeping my clients relaxed and feeling in control.
I was once Australian Beach Volleyball Champion, which took me to Europe and the US. Now that I’m older, I have taken up cycling and ride whenever I can with a great bunch of friends. I managed a family business, worked in hospitality, and took on a major renovation at home as the owner-builder, even though I knew little about construction.
No two clients are the same and that their issues are unique, and so are the resolutions they reach. Given the right support, time and attention, people can overcome all manner of adversities, both present and from their pasts.
